Hello! I'm Smaranda

I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a psychotherapist and clinical psychologist who helps people navigate life’s challenges with warmth, curiosity, and practical support. My approach is grounded in Humanistic therapy — creating a compassionate space for self-understanding — and enriched by Cognitive-Behavioral therapy tools that bring focus and direction to change.

I love connecting with people and listening to their stories. It’s a privilege to offer support and understanding when life feels difficult. Together, we work toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing. Everyone is welcome — and every story matters.

My passion for nature, animals, and art often finds its way into my work. I enjoy integrating creative approaches that help clients reconnect with themselves and the world in meaningful ways.

My story

My education

My path in psychology began in 2013 at Dawson College in Montreal, where I discovered my passion for understanding people and supporting their growth. I continued my studies at the University of Greenwich in the UK (2014-2017), earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

After several years abroad, I returned to Romania to deepen my professional training, completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Spiru Haret University and specializing in Psychotherapy at the Multicultural Association of Psychology and Psychotherapy. During my training, I had the privilege of learning from remarkable teachers such as Psychologist Gáspár György and Psychologist Dr. Raluca Anton, whom I am honored to have as my mentor.

Over the years, I’ve taken part in many professional courses and workshops, becoming a member of the Romanian College of Psychologists and an accredited Career Counsellor recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
